Recording Artists Bertell, Leigh Bush and Quinn from Jukebox Band Give Thrilling Performances for the October Edition of ATL Live on the Park
October 16th/Atlanta, GA— If you thought Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols, creators of ATL Live on the Park, had no more tricks up their sleeves for their monthly music showcase then you were misinformed! The October edition, sponsored by Rolling Out Magazine, Audi, Chambord and Korbel, hailed performances from breakout artists like Bertell, teen heartthrob Leigh Bush formerly Sammie and Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter Quinn & JukeBox Band. Hosted by Art Terrell of Atlanta’s KISS 104.1 FM, October’s edition did not disappoint.
Opening the show was independent recording artist, Bertell Young. Bertell, who is the protege of famed super-producer Bryan Michael-Cox, opened his set with his soon to be released single, “Keep it on the Low”. He followed up with his current Billboard chart-topping hit, “She Get if from her Mama”, which had everyone dancing and vibing to the beat. Bertell stole the crowd with another hit off his debut EP called “Selfish Love” which is the first single off his EP, Atlanta Nights with Telly. Closing his set, Bertell sung a cover of R.Kelly’s “Seems Like You Ready” and a cover of Jamie Fox, “VIP”.
Next to hit the stage was the multi-talented Recording Artist Leigh Bush. After many years of a successful career under the moniker Sammie, Leigh Bush reinvented himself as a new artist, with a slew of new hit records to validate his growth. The first single he performed was ‘Come with Me’ off his self-titled EP that released the night of the performance. The next song he performed, was his latest ballad entitled ‘Free Falling’ that was inspired from a conversation on a friendship blossoming into true love. The crowd was so happy to see him back and better than ever giving a performance of a lifetime.
Quinn, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and former member of the multi-platinum R&B group BLACKstreet, kept the crowd grooving all night with his award winning JukeBox Band. From the bass, to the drums to the keys…. The JukeBox surely is a force to reckon with. Without making the audience wait any longer, Quinn belted out classic hits with the accompany of his band, that got everyone to their feet singing along to every word.
Celebrities in attendance were R&B singer J. Holiday, recording artist India Shawn,Bravo’s New Atlanta star Alexandra Dilworth, and Socialite Juan Farmer.
